(October 21, 2025) Macalister reports that this stone was standing in a dense growth of nettles in the old graveyard of Mullagh on the townland of Rantavan. He could not find it on his first visit but he later received more definite directions from a friend and found it on the 2nd try. The stone is in a line running northward from the middle of the north wall of the ruined church. Beside it is a small tombstone surmounted by a cross commemorating James Farrelly, 1897. The scores on the stone are small and neat.
It is made of limestone with the top portion destroyed. What remains is 2′ 1″ × 0′ 10″ × 0′ 4 1/2″
